Life Sciences of Washington, Incorporated (LSOW) is a north Florida based Community Based Organization and Not-for-Profit entity, created and established in 1998, to serve the underserved communities of north Florida in matters of health education, outreach, HIV/AIDS testing & counseling, Diet and Nutrition education and counseling, and overall health management.

 

LSOW believes that knowledge, education and proper training are the only tools that are successful in eradicating the social ills and biological diseases that plague our society.

 

LSOW pledges to provide: nutritional training, education and health resources, cognitive, emotional and mental upliftment, updates on current HIV/AIDS research, awareness of Alternative HIV/AIDS Treatment modalities, lectures and training on the negative connections between state of mind and HIV/AIDS as well as negative effects that other viral and cancerous diseases have on state of mind.

 

LSOW will employ the tools of Biomedical and Clinical Research to investigate HIV/AIDS and other ailments seeking medical and alternative therapies for those affected and infected.

 

The "Closing the Gap" grant program targets seven priority health areas:

  • Cancer

  • Cardiovascular disease

  • Diabetes

  • Adult and Child Immunizations

  • HIV/AIDS

  • Maternal and Infant Mortality 

  • Oral Healthcare.

 

e-HAP provides the latest Web site updates, as well as information on CDC’s HIV/AIDS prevention science, programs and policies.
